Although the restaurant occupies an old fast food stand, this is no burger joint. Big Mama's prepares soul food, Cajun and Creole dishes with a specialty of barbecued ribs, slow cooked to make them tender and juicy. You can also choose from fried chicken, hot links, greens and chitterlings. A good way to sample the fare is the barbecue combo plate (ribs, chicken, pork and links), and the Creole seafood combo (shrimp, oysters, catfish and fish filets).

| We visited Big Mama's while we were in Las Vegas, May 2006. After hearing incredible things we were very disappointed. The food was good BUT the entire place was unclean, the bathrooms were disgusting (no toilet paper, no paper towels, NO HAND SOAP) there was no air conditioning, the desserts were melting on the counter. A really horrible experience overall. It would have been much better to use the drive-thru! |

| I always enjoy the Chicken Creole and spicy cabbage and like other items such as soft tacos and "The Killer" hot BBQ sandwich. |

| After eating Big Mama's Ribs I had terrible stomach pain. After two days of pain, I decided that I needed to go to urgent care. I will never patronize your establishment again. |
