The sweet sounds of quartets and choruses filled the MGM Grand Garden arena last week. The Barbershop Harmony Society hosted its annual convention to crown the International Chorus Champion and the International Quartet Champion.
Competitors from New Zealand to Canada competed in front of a crowd of more than 7,000 people. Basses, baritones, tenors and leads all harmonized together to the delight of the crowd.
In the end, the Musical Island Boys from New Zealand captured the quartet competition with The Vocal Majority, of Dallas, winning the chorus competition.
