Cooking workshops covering variety of cuisines


Beginning as part of the Carnevale summer festival and continuing into the fall, The Venetian, 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has teamed up with Le Cordon Blue College of Culinary Arts to offer the Blue Ribbon Kitchen Program, hands-on workshops that cover an array or cuisines and techniques. The schedule is as follows: Aug. 17, the tastes of Northern Italy; Aug. 24, Southern Italy; Aug. 31, French bistro; Sept. 7, hors d’oeuvres; Oct. 5, sushi making; and Nov. 2, steakhouse at home.
