The Latin Grammys are coming back

The Latin Grammys will return to Las Vegas, live on Univision from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Nov. 19, but we don’t know yet who will host and who will be nominated.

The Latin Grammy execs announced only that nominations will come down Sept. 23 for Vegas’ eighth Latin Grammy experience.

Grammy marketers have been hard at work, brainstorming. Ergo, various entertainers will perform during acoustic sessions, school shows, and “street parties” around the nation, during the lead-up to the awards show.

There will be Latin Grammy acoustic sessions in Los Angeles (Sept. 23); New York (Oct. 8); Dallas (Oct. 22); and Miami (Nov. 5).

Street parties will happen in Los Angeles (Oct. 18); Dallas (Oct. 25); and Miami (Nov. 8).

School events will happen in Puerto Rico (Sept. 8 or 9); and Las Vegas (Nov. 16 or 20, no other details yet).

A mixer presented by producers and engineers, will happen in Las Vegas on Nov. 17.

And a lifetime achievement, “Person of the Year” and other overview awards will be handed out in a Las Vegas gala on Nov. 18.
