Zombie Bowl for Kids’ Sake is planned for noon June 13 at Red Rock Lanes inside Red Rock Resort, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd., to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada. Advance registration is required. Zombie attire is recommended but optional, and professional zombie makeup and costume artists will be on site. Summer youth basketball leagues are planned for ages 5 to 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays June 13-Aug. 1 at the Veterans Memorial Leisure Services Center, 101 N. Pavilion Center Drive. A 1.5-mile run beginning at the pool is planned to wind through Veterans Memorial Park and conclude with a 300-meter swim.
