More ejections, fewer narcotic arrests on EDC night 2

Arrests decreased while ejections escalated at Electric Daisy Carnival’s second night compared to day one, Las Vegas police said Sunday morning.

There were approximately 134,000 in attendance Saturday night into Sunday morning, according to Insomniac Productions, the organizers of the electric music festival, adding that 72 people were ejected, compared to four the previous day.

Twelve people were transported to area hospitals out of 311 calls for medical assistance, police said.

Five traffic accidents were reported, three traffic citations, 19 felony arrests (all narcotic related), one DUI arrest and two misdemeanor arrests, police said.

Thousands began leaving Las Vegas Motor Speedway as the sun rose early Sunday morning — those numbers could change.
