MOTHER BABY COMMUNITY SUPPORT GROUP OFFERED AT CENTENNIAL HILLS HOSPITAL

A weekly mother baby community support group is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 12, 19 and 27 in conference rooms 1 and 2 at Centennial Hills Hospital, 6900 N. Durango Drive. Participants are required to bring a blanket, pillow, lunch and snacks. The free support group is to open to all mothers in Southern Nevada.

INFANT MASSAGE CLASS SCHEDULED FOR MAY 14

University Medical Center plans to host an infant massage class at 1 p.m. May 14 at the Family Resource Center, 1120 Shadow Lane.

The class is designed to teach techniques to calm and relax infants 6 weeks to 1 year.

O2 ON THE GO TO HOST SUPPORT GROUP MAY 16

O2 On the Go, a support group for people with pulmonary diseases, is slated to meet from 10 a.m. to noon May 16 at the H2U MountainView Office, 3150 N. Tenaya Way, Suite 114.

COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR SET MAY 17 AT CENTENNIAL HILLS HOSPITAL

A free community health fair is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 17 in the main lobby at Centennial Hills Hospital, 6900 N. Durango Drive. Activities will include free health screenings for blood pressure, bone density, glucose* and cholesterol* (*fasting recommended for accurate adults) and health education from staff, physician offices and local agencies and businesses. The fair will also feature games, raffles, prizes, face painting, balloon art and refreshments. A free gift will be given to the first 100 people.
