The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas ranked highly for Pokemon Go players

Are you a Pokemon Go player hunting pocket monsters? Hotel booking site hotels.com suggests The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas may have your quarry.

Hotels.com on Thursday listed The Cosmopolitan as one of the nation’s top hotels for players of Pokémon Go, a wildly popular smartphone game.

Hotels.com said it found the Pokemon Go fan base’s hotel amenity preferences have shifted; players have said free Wi-Fi matters more than free breakfast and they’ve declared a preference for hotels that are Pokestops — places to catch Pokemon, the game’s virtual pocket monsters.

Millennial Pokemon Go players said they’re nearly twice as likely to use a Pokegym, a gym with Pokemon (44 percent) than the hotel gym (19 percent), hotels.com said.

The Cosmopolitan has 12 Pokestops/Pokegyms on site, with 80 more within 1.25 miles, hotels.com said.
