  •      It will be a battle for the best when The Nashville Network's new series "Rollerjam" rolls into the MGM Grand Garden arena, 3799 Las Vegas Blvd. South, for the "Wild West Shoot-out" to be taped June 30 through July 4.
"Rollerjam" features the thrills and excitement of roller derby coupled with the daring speeds of in-line skating by some of America's fastest skaters.
Each team comprises five men and five women. Two teams go head-to-head at one time on the same banked oval track.
"Rollerjam" is telecast on Fridays from 9 to 11 p.m. and Saturdays from 5 to 7 p.m. on TNN.
"Rollerjam" begins its second season on August 27.
The "Wild West Shoot-out" will feature the New York Enforcers, the California Quakes, the Nevada Hot Dice, the Illinois Riot, the Florida Sundogs and the Texas Rustlers. The tournament will mark the first time the Nevada Hot Dice skate before a home crowd.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children under 15. They can be purchased through the MGM Grand Garden arena box office and all Ticketmaster locations.
