A former security guard for entertainer Roy Horn has sued Horn's longtime stage partner Siegfried Fischbacher and has alleged he behaved "like a tyrant" and gave Horn excess medication during his recovery from a near-fatal tiger mauling.
The lawsuit filed by Louis Mydlach, 34, alleges wrongful discharge and infliction of "emotional distress" by Fischbacher as an employer. The lawsuit seeks damages in excess of $10,000.

Mydlach is the son of Siegfried & Roy's former security director, Jim Mydlach. Both men quit their jobs last winter, citing disputes with Fischbacher. The younger Mydlach said he has not had a job since then.
"This has totally destroyed me," he said.
Fischbacher declined comment Tuesday through his publicist, Dave Kirvin.
Fischbacher's attorney, John Moran Jr., called the lawsuit "false in all particulars."
"If (Mydlach) was smart, he would move immediately to dismiss this with prejudice," Moran said Tuesday. "If he doesn't voluntarily dismiss it, we'll seek causes of action against him."
He first filed the lawsuit Monday, but Louis Mydlach returned to District Court on Tuesday to change the litigation, removing the name of an attorney who had rejected the case but was listed on the document.
Louis Mydlach then said he would withdraw the case today and refile it through an attorney, rather than as an individual.
He said he has photos, video and documentation to support his allegations.
Louis Mydlach said he has known Horn since the age of 11 and became Horn's primary security guard immediately after the entertainer was seriously injured by one of his show tigers during a performance of "Siegfried & Roy at The Mirage" on Oct. 3, 2003.
Horn later suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed.
In the lawsuit, Louis Mydlach described their relationship as "close and almost familial," which provoked jealousy in Fischbacher. Louis Mydlach said he quit when he was not allowed to accompany Horn on a Mexican vacation this past winter.
"I want to see Mr. Roy. I want to talk to Mr. Roy by myself," he said. "I want to know he's (in control of) his own life."
The lawsuit said Fischbacher "forced Roy to take medication even when Roy begged not to be medicated."
In a Las Vegas Sun interview published Oct. 2, Horn, 61, said he traveled to the Leonardis Clinic in Germany last summer "because I was getting too much pain medication here and I needed to totally cleanse my body."
Louis Mydlach said, "I'm trying to get Mr. Roy some help."
"I've been trying to do this for a whole year, and everybody shut me down," he said of his attempts to get media outlets to cover his story.
