Mary Ruffa-Kravetz holds a sign criticizing the Clark County legal system Friday outside the county's Family Court building on Pecos Road. The protest was organized by Redress Inc., which is a local nonprofit organization that seeks to hold judges accountable for their decisions. The organization also seeks to provide education to the public regarding legal reform. Ruffa-Kravetz is the mother of convicted killer David Ruffa, who was convicted of killing his wife earlier this year and sentenced to life in prison. The Ruffa family alleges he was wrongly convicted of the killing. Also protesting Friday were several individuals sharply critical of the Family Court system in Clark County.
