Ethel M Chocolates officially opened its annual Holiday Cactus Lighting display last week in its Botanical Cactus Garden adjacent to the company's chocolate factory in Henderson. The display features nearly 500,000 lights, and visitors also can view holiday-themed chocolate sculptures and sample holiday chocolates in its Chocolate Wonderland. Lani Misalucha performs holiday songs with the Society of Seven during opening festivities. The free display will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. daily through Jan. 1. Santa will make appearances on Fridays and Saturdays, and local choirs will perform holiday favorites throughout most of the period.
