Construction of the $150 million, 41-story Allure luxury condo tower on Sahara Avenue is on track for completion in September, an executive for the Chicago-based developer said.
"Clearly we are well beyond just being under construction," said Alan Schachtman, senior vice president and principal of Fifield Cos. "It's exciting to see the building continue to evolve and to know that we are even closer to our goal of delivering a luxury residential high-rise that offers both quality and value. There are few high-rise projects in Las Vegas that can say that."

Maintaining a 25-month construction schedule, general contractor Bovis Lend Lease is starting work on the parking garage.
Inside the building, framing of the interior units is nearly complete, along with window installation and exterior glass balcony handrails. Tile, cabinets, counters and plumbing fixtures have been installed in lower-level units, which will be the first to be occupied by residents.
Most of the rooftop mechanical equipment is in place and the ornamental "crown" is taking shape. Schachtman said it will become the tower's signature design element.
Allure has 428 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 671 square feet to 4,400 square feet. Prices start in the mid-$500,000s.
Amenities include an outdoor pool deck with cabanas, fitness center with locker rooms, media center, conference room, catering kitchen, business center with high-speed Internet computers, Wi-Fi in all public spaces, resident storage, 24-hour security and valet parking.
Andrew Fonfa, owner of the 5-acre site and joint venture partner with Fifield, told the Review-Journal in November that a second taller tower is planned for a condo-hotel project with 350 to 400 units. Estimated construction cost is $300 million to $400 million.

The building's exterior is designed as a Mediterranean-style residence to blend in with the historic downtown neighborhood.
