Police seek two men in mall shooting

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help to identify two suspects involved in a shooting at a mall where people were waiting for the release of a new pair of shoes.

Shortly after 4 a.m. on Aug. 17, a juvenile was shot at Meadows Mall while waiting with about 50 other people in line at Meadows Mall, according to police.

Police said one suspect approached the victim and hit him the face, knocking him to the ground. The second suspect then pulled out a gun, and shot the victim several times while he was on the ground.

The victim was transported to University Medical Center in serious condition and remains in serious condition at the hospital as of Thursday evening.

Police described the first suspect as man about 20 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches and about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing all black clothing. The second suspect was described as a 20-year-old man about 5 feet, 10 inches and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue pants and green Air Jordan shoes. Both suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a grey Dodge Charger, police said.
