Child pornography suspect skips court

A suspect in a child pornography investigation escaped house arrest and failed to make a court appearance Wednesday.

Las Vegas police are looking for 52-year-old William Thompson of Las Vegas. He was arrested in November 2012 for use of a minor to produce pornography, according to police.

Thompson operated Stonybrook Studios in the 3300 block of West Craig Road and took photos and videos of juveniles in sexually explicit positions for months, according to the police report.

Thompson has also been linked with several other cases outside of the continental United States and is under review for federal prosecution, police said.

He faces outstanding arrest warrants for seven counts of use or permit of a minor to produce pornography and three counts of lewdness with a child under 14.
