Officials investigate two suspicious fires
September 3, 2013 - 9:36 am
Las Vegas and Clark County firefighters put out two fires that caused $100,000 in damage near Fremont Street and Sahara Avenue Monday night.
Both fires were in unoccupied, mobile office trailers, according to Clark County fire officials.
Firefighters encountered a slight delay by locked gates at 3250 East Sahara Ave. shortly after 9 p.m.
While fighting that fire, they were called to another fire at 3290 Fremont St. That unit is located within the same parking lot as the first structure.
About 40 firefighters responded to the two incidents.
There were no injuries. Fire officials are investigating the fires, which are deemed suspicious, though no cause has been determined at this time.
