Woman dies in U.S. 93 accident in northwest Arizona

KINGMAN, Ariz. — A California woman was killed in a single-vehicle traffic accident in northwest Arizona on Wednesday.

The Department of Public Safety responded at 9:28 a.m. to the rollover on U.S. Highway 93, about 25 miles south of the O’Callaghan-Tillman Bridge.

Capt. Ron Delong said a four-door Toyota sedan was traveling south when it left the highway and then came back onto the highway and rolled.

Pat Moore, chief of the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire Department, said firefighters extricated the woman from the vehicle but she died at the scene.

Delong said the victim’s name was being withheld pending notification of kin.

Cause of the accident was under investigation.
