1 person suffers smoke inhalation in fire at Aria on Las Vegas Strip

One person was taken to the hospital after a fire at on the Las Vegas Strip Wednesday night, the Clark County Fire Department said.

Firefighters were called just after 10 p.m. to Aria in CityCenter, 3730 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Assistant Fire Chief Larry Haydu said.

The fire was in the second-floor kitchen in a large dishwasher machine. The sprinkler system extinguished the fire.

The fire department said the fire had been contained to the machine and no structural damage was reported.

“There was a report of one person on the second floor that suffered smoke inhalation and that person was transported,” Haydu said. “There were no other injuries reported and a damage estimate is not available at this time.”
