Las Vegas police evacuated houses in the east valley Monday after they said a woman in a nearby home was stabbed.
Officers responded at 3:41 p.m. to a “domestic-related” stabbing at 328 Ronald Lane, near Stewart Avenue and Lamb Boulevard, Metro spokesman Lt. Dave Valenta said.
Police worked to coax a male armed with a kitchen knife out, Valenta said. By about 5:50 p.m., police had taken him into custody.
Information about the female who was stabbed was not immediately available.
