Man found dead in car in North Las Vegas identified
A man found dead in a car in North Las Vegas Thursday has been identified.
Brandon Sumerlin, a 24-year-old North Las Vegas resident, was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office. His cause of death has not been released.
According to North Las Vegas police, the body was found in a parked car about 6:15 p.m. in the 3700 block of West Craig Road, North Las Vegas police spokeswoman Ann Cavaricci said.
Police said it appeared that the body had been in the car for several days, and the death is being investigated as “suspicious” because the cause of death was not immediately clear, Cavaricci said.
