Police seek casino cash cage robber

Las Vegas police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man connected to Monday’s robbery at Silver Sevens Hotel and Casino.

About 8:30 p.m. a man approached a cage cashier at the casino, located at 4100 Paradise Road, near Flamingo Road, and handed over a note demanding money. The man pulled out a handgun and threatened to shoot the employee. The cashier forked over an unknown amount of cash before the robber fled.

Police described the man as being in his 40s, standing about 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was unshaven and had gray in his beard, police said. The robber was last seen wearing a backward baseball cap, a gray button-up, long-sleeve shirt and dark pants.
