A Sunday morning house fire near Spring Valley caused $200,000 in damages.
The Clark County Fire Department responded about 11:15 a.m. to a fire at 6069 Sundown Ridge St., near South Tenaya Way and West Patrick Lane.
The call originially came in as a 911 disconnect, and a unit was sent to investigate, Deputy Chief John Steinbeck said.
Upon arrival, the crew found smoke coming from the attic vents and additional units were called.
The 2-story single-family home had heavy fire involvement, and damage was estimated at around $200,000, Steinbeck said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
