Thomas Roberts named Catholic Charities CEO

Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada on Monday announced Thomas A. Roberts as its new president and chief operating officer.

Roberts is originally from Youngstown, Ohio, and has more than 25 years in executive leadership experience in corporate development and management, according to a news release.

He was the founding general manager of the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace and most recently served as the vice president of development for Station Casinos.

In addition, he serves as deacon at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Las Vegas.

Roberts will replace Dawn Davis, who was named interim chief operating officer late last year after Monsignor Patrick Leary died of heart failure. Roberts supported Davis in her interim role.
