Arizona man sentenced to life in prison for sex offenses involving minor girls

KINGMAN, Ariz. - A Bullhead City man convicted of sex offenses involving 8- and 10-year-old sisters was sentenced Tuesday to two consecutive life prison sentences followed by 28 years.

Arnold Reese, 78, was convicted of sexual conduct with a minor and child molestation charges involving the sisters. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Williams told Reese that his previous convictions involving sex offenses with minors in 1988 and 1997 required the life sentences under Arizona law.

The Bullhead City victims told their grandmother and police that Reese, a friend of the family whom they called “grandpa,” repeatedly molested them over a seven-month period in 2012.
