Shots fired at Greyhound bus station in downtown Las Vegas

A man was arrested after police said he fired several shots at the Greyhound bus station in downtown Las Vegas Thursday night.

Las Vegas police responded to the Greyhound bus station located at 200 S. Main Street, near Bridger Avenue, about 6:40 p.m. after receiving several calls of a person firing a gun both inside and outside of the station.

Arriving officers took the suspect into custody without incident, Las Vegas police Lt. John Liberty said.

The man was shooting at security guards at the bus station but nobody was injured, according to Liberty.

The suspect’s intentions are unclear and police are still investigating the shooting, Liberty said.
