About 250 supporters turned out Saturday to a canvass kickoff event with former President Bill Clinton at the UA Local 525 Plumbers and Pipefitters Training Center in Las Vegas. Clinton and State Assemblyman Edgar Flores gave speeches in support of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Volunteers were scheduled to canvass surrounding neighborhoods following the event. Clinton attracted 400 people to a Friday evening campaign stop at the United Brotherhood of Carpenters International Training Center in Las Vegas.

On Saturday morning, the former president also spoke at a grassroots event at Manse Elementary School in Pahrump.
