Democratic candidates plan Nevada events ahead of caucus

The battle for New Hampshire was not yet over, but that didn't stop Democratic presidential candidates Tuesday from announcing Nevada events ahead of their Feb. 20 caucus.

Among the events scheduled is a Nevada town hall focusing on the state and the Latino community, sponsored by the Nevada State Democratic Party.

Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will participate in the televised event on the evening of Feb. 18. It will be broadcast on Telemundo and MSNBC.

Clinton will also be in Nevada Saturday and Sunday to rally Nevada voters, a campaign official said. Details of the visit were not immediately available.

Last week, former President Bill Clinton stumped for his wife in Las Vegas and Pahrump. He also made a campaign stop for her in January.

The Republican caucus will take place Feb. 23.

Earlier this month, Clinton narrowly edged opponent Bernie Sanders in the Iowa caucus, but she's considered an underdog in New Hampshire Tuesday night where many polls predict Sanders winning by double digits.
