7-year-old sends NFL player autographed jersey

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt received an unexpected gift from a 7-year-old fan this week — the kid’s autographed football game jersey.

“This kid has some guts… I like it,” Watt tweeted on Monday along with a picture of the jersey and a letter from the fan.

The 7-year-old, Anthony Tarantelli, said in the letter that his friends call him “J.J.” because he plays the same position as Watt.

“I wear number 99 like you to,” the letter said. “I was the most feared rusher in my league this year.”

He also told Watt he sent him his game jersey because he wants Watt to know him when he’s a famous NFL player.
