Mountain West football title game to be televised by ESPN or ESPN2

The 2016 Mountain West Championship football game will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2 on Saturday, Dec. 3. Kickoff will take place at 4:30 or 4:45 p.m. PT, the conference announced Wednesday.
The game will be played at the site of the divisional champion with the highest College Football Playoff ranking at the conclusion of regular-season play. Each of the 12 teams in the conference will play eight league games consisting of five intra-divisional games and three cross-divisional contests.
San Diego State beat Air Force 27-24 in last year’s MW title game at Qualcomm Stadium. Boise State beat Fresno State 28-14 to claim the 2014 conference crown. Fresno State beat Utah State 24-17 to win the league’s inaugural championship game in 2013.
