UNLV women headed to 12th straight NCAA Regional in golf

The UNLV women’s golf team will travel to Stillwater, Okla., next week to make its 12th straight appearance in an NCAA Regional.

The Rebels are the No. 16 seed in the Central Regional, which will be played at Karsten Creek Golf Course from May 8 to 10. The top four seeds in the region are UCLA, Arkansas, Alabama and Arizona. The low eight teams and two lowest individuals not on those teams from each of the three regionals move on to finals in Tulsa, Okla., later

UNLV finished tied for third at the Mountain West Championship, and Dana Finkelstein finished second in the tournament.
