Dine-and-dasher accused of running over Applebee’s employee to escape $28 tab

A woman is accused of running over a Tennessee Applebee’s employee while trying to skip out on a $28 tab.

Witnesses said a man and a woman didn’t pay their bill and left the restaurant at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, according to ABC News. When an employee and a few customers followed the two out of the restaurant, witnesses said the woman intentionally ran over an employee.

The employee escaped with only minor injuries. The two suspects will appear in court Wednesday.
