Adrenaline junkies scale 2,000-foot city tower — VIDEO

I’m one of those who is scared of heights. It made this video both fascinating and terrifying to watch.

Open Roofs is a channel dedicated to documenting the adventures of two men climbing industrial towers, which is illegal. They already have their share of Internet fame, with one of their videos reaching 41 million views. As of Friday, they were back at it.

This time, they’re climbed the 2,000-foot Shenzhen Centre tower in Shenzhen, a major city in southern China.

The video begins slowly, showing their travels through China, taxi cabs and food stands included.

Then it’s night and the two urban climbers have donned face masks to conceal their identities. They’re like law-breaking ninjas.

They sneak into the tower, capturing gorgeous video of the Chinese night skyline.

After a sleep-over to wait for daylight, they challenge the rest of the tower.

Watch as they prove that they were born without fear as they traverse to the very top of the tower, without any form of safety equipment.

What they do takes one part physical strength and one part insanity.

Just watching the video, my palms got sweaty and I got butterflies in my stomach. I imagine viewers feel that way even without a fear of heights.
