SILVERTON RESTAURANTS ANNOUNCE NEW YEAR'S EVE OPTIONS

Restaurants at the Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond Road, plan to serve special menus for New Year's Eve.

Twin Creeks Steakhouse plans to serve a special menu including entree choices of 12-ounce bone-in Brooklyn filet or mustard- and horseradish-encrusted seabass for $68.

The Seasons Buffet plans to serve a special menu from 4 to 10 p.m. for $27.99 per person with a Players Club card. The carving station will have whole stuffed salmon and prime rib.

Mi Casa Grill Cantina plans to offer a special dinner for $35, including entree choices of Mexican grilled chicken, chipotle barbecue bacon-wrapped shrimp or steak and lobster.

The Silverton's "Skip The Strip" option will feature $10 all-you-can-drink domestic drafts, well cocktails and wine and sparkling wine at all casino bars, along with food specials at the Mermaid Restaurant & Lounge and Shady Grove Lounge for guests 21 or older.

FLEMING'S PLANS THREE NIGHTS OF CELEBRATION FOR NEW YEAR'S EVE

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 8721 W. Charleston Blvd., plans to host New Year's Nights Thursday through Saturday.

The nights will feature Moët and Chandon Impérial champagne served from magnum bottles all night and a special celebration menu with three steak and seafood entrees each priced at $69.95, along with the regular menu.

ALIZÉ SETS NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATION AT THE TOP OF THE PALMS

The Artisan Hotel Boutique, 1501 W. Sahara Ave., plans to host a four-course New Year's Eve dinner at Mood, featuring a glass of champagne and entrance to the Ultra Lounge party.

Seatings are at 8:30, 9 and 9:30 p.m. The cost is $100 per person.

Early bird seating is available for just the dinner for $50 per person at 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. Tickets for only the party and champagne toast are $30 for men and $20 for women from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

CHEEBURGER CHEEBURGER HOSTS BURGER-EATING CONTEST

Cheeburger Cheeburger, 8390 S. Rainbow Blvd., hosted a Man Vs. Cheeburger Cheeburger competition Dec. 7.

The contest had 19 participants competing in divisions for 1-pound, 2-pound, 3-plus-pound burgers. The winner of the 3-plus-pound burger competition was professional eater Tom "Goose" Gilbert, who finished 6 pounds to win the Southern Nevada championship.

The Parlour and Flame Steakhouse at the El Cortez, 600 E. Fremont St., plan to offer Roederer Brut Premier Champagne for $50 per bottle for New Year's Eve, while supplies last.

The Parlour plans to host local guitarist and singer Bert Lynch from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

GOLD SPIKE PLANS NEW YEAR'S EVE AFTER-PARTY

The Gold Spike, 400 E. Ogden Ave., plans to host a New Year's Eve after-party from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.

The open party will take place throughout the entire casino floor and lounge, with a disc jockey and prizes. Purchase a drink and receive a raffle ticket. THE ORLEANS PLANS NEW YEAR'S DINING SPECIALS

Canal Street at The Orleans, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave., plans to offer New Year's Day dinner specials from 4 to 10 p.m., including a champagne toast, crab meat cocktail, choice of soup or salad, entree choices of steak au poivre ($41) or bistro stuffed chicken breast ($28) and Manhattan ice cream truffle for dessert.

The Coasta Cantina plans to offer a $19 special from noon to 8 p.m. featuring a seafood cocktail shot, choice of soup or salad, choice of seafood parrilada or filet Colorado and fruit tart for dessert.

The Courtyard Café plans to serve a New Year's Day Hangover Special for $11.99 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It includes soup or salad, Southern fried chicken or triple cheeseburger and brownie and ice cream for dessert.

The French Market Buffet plans to have a champagne brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. New Year's Day for $17.99. It will include complimentary Bloody Marys, and additional Bloody Marys will be $1.99 each.

The Prime Rib Loft plans to offer a New Year's Eve dinner for $100, featuring a gourmet meal, open bar, disc jockey, dancing and champagne toast. Seating begins at 9:30 p.m. The meal includes bread and salad, prime rib of beef, herb-crusted airline chicken breast, filet mignon or salmon Napoleon and creme brulee or white chocolate raspberry truffle.

The New Year's Day dinner will be $36 from 4 to 10 p.m. It includes a champagne toast, Caprese stack, soup or salad, bacon-wrapped filet mignon or grilled jumbo prawns and Italian spumoni or black forest cake.

Dragon Noodle Co. & Sushi Bar inside the Monte Carlo, 3770 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to mark National Soup Month in January with half-price hot and sour and egg flower soup.

The restaurant plans to celebrate Dragon Day on Jan. 16 by offering a small bottle of sake with the purchase of a Dragon Roll, a sushi roll packed with imitation crab meat, cucumber and avocado and topped with eel.

OLD HOMESTEAD STEAKHOUSE OPENS AT CAESARS PALACE

Old Homestead Steakhouse has opened its first Las Vegas location at Caesars Palace, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Old Homestead Steakhouse is one of New York City's most historic restaurants. The Caesars Palace location has more than 6,000 square feet and 250 seats, including a full dining room, private dining room, lounge and bar.

The menu features a colossal crab cake, 32-ounce Gotham rib-eye steak and New York-style cheesecake.

JAMESON FUSION DINNER SET AT BAR+BISTRO

TICKETS ON SALE FOR APRIL BEER FESTIVAL AT TIVOLI VILLAGE

Advance tickets are on sale for the second annual Great Vegas Festival of Beer, which is planned from 5 to 9 p.m. April 21 at Tivoli Village, 302 S. Rampart Blvd.

The event is presented by Motley Brews and is set to feature more than 150 brews from across the Southwest, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit area nonprofit groups.

Paid ticket holders will be able to access express entry lines. Beer tasting tickets are $27 for pre-sale and $37 at the door, if available. The Brewer's VIP Lounge is $37 pre-sale and $47 at the door. Designated Driver tickets are $15 and are available only at the door.

The ticket cost includes admission, a tasting glass and samples of beer from more than 40 breweries. Food will be available for purchase.
