New restaurant in Red Rock Resort: Libre Mexican Cantina recently opened in Red Rock Resort, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd. Libre is hosting Taco & Tequila Tuesdays with all you can eat tacos and tequila shots for $24 and a contest to win free tacos for a year. Farm Table: Honey Salt, 1031 S. Rampart Blvd., is planning another Farm Table dinner themed late winter and offering seasonal farm fare at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 23. Winter Wine Fest: The Nevada Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation is planning the fest from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 19 at Tivoli Village, 440 S. Wellness bar opens: Fruits & Roots Organic Juice Bar and Wellness Kitchen, 7855 W. Beer festival: Motley Brews' sixth annual Great Vegas Festival of Beer is planned from 3 to 7 p.m. April 9 near the Fremont East Entertainment District. Early-entry tickets (2 to 7 p.m.) are $45 until Feb. 28, $50 after that until April 9 and $55 at the door. VIP Brewer's Lounge (2 to 7 p.m.) tickets are $85 until Feb. 28, $90 after that until April 9 and $95 at the door. For the Love of Cocktails: The third annual event is planned through Feb. 12 at a variety of downtown Las Vegas locations and involves five-star dinners, exclusive high-end tastings, master mixologists, bar crawls, and cocktail competitions. Tea fest: Tealet and Joy's Teaspoon, both of Las Vegas, announced the debut of the Southwest Tea Fest at 10 a.m. Feb. 27 at the Downtown Third Farmers Market. The event is to include live music, food trucks, cuppings, samplings, tastings, a Wu Wo Tea Ceremony, a Gong Fu Tea Ceremony, a Blind Tea Tasting, a Cupping Championship and an Art Walk. Splendor in the Glass: Southern Nevada Public Television plans its 27th annual Splendor in the Glass event from 3 to 7 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Westgate Las Vegas, 3000 Paradise Road. The event is set to feature 60 wineries and breweries, a live wine auction, a silent auction and a jazz ensemble. Tequila dinner to benefit Junior Achievement: Cantina Laredo at Tivoli Village, 430 S. Reset Project educational dinner: Create A Change Now recently announced its partnership with The Reset Project to bring continuous awareness and health education to families and the community. Hoops & Hops: The three-day March College Basketball viewing experience is set to return to The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd. South, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. March 17-19. In addition to featuring betting stations (open at 7:30 a.m. each day) and multiple televisions throughout the venue, guests can try interactive experiences, including access to a basketball court, billiards, shuffleboard, blackjack, an onsite sports book and more. Buy a slice for veterans: Pizza Forte at Sunset Station, 1301 W. Sunset Road, now offers customers the option of buying a slice for a veteran. Customers will have the option of buying a Hofmann hot dog for $2, a slice of cheese pizza for $2 or an entire cheese pizza for $11.11. They will then be asked to write a thank you note on a pizza-shaped card that will be provided by Pizza Forte. Those notes will be hung up on the walls. Taste the Rock: Red Rock Resort, 11011 W.
