Cosmopolitan art exhibit: The P3Studio artist-in-residence Brent Sommerhauser's exhibit is set for viewing through Sept. 13 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd. South, from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays and 6 to 11 p.m. Sundays. Sommerhauser plans to introduce guests to kiln-formed glass, demonstrating the process of working with it and allowing them to create small sketches in glass by layering color combinations of glass powder, glass strings and other glass elements over Bullseye handmade glass tiles that Sommerhauser will fire in his Olympic glass kilns. The resulting tiles will be photographed and shared on his Instagram account @P3ArtGlass. Swim times are from 8 to 9:15 a.m. for dogs less than 50 pounds and from 9:45 to 11 a.m. for dogs larger than 50 pounds. Owners are not allowed in the pool.
