Valley residents Watney, Na share top spot after three rounds in Shriners Open

Henderson’s Nick Watney and Las Vegas’ Kevin Na have the top of the leaderboard to themselves after three rounds of the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin. Watney shot a 7-under-par 64 and Na had a 5-under 66.

No damage reported from western Nevada quake

A 4.6 magnitude earthquake has rocked western Nevada, but there were no reports of damage. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck at 12:07 a.m. Saturday and was centered about 6 miles southeast of Schurz in Mineral County and 100 miles southeast of Reno.
