Standing before an energized crowd of supporters in Las Vegas, Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney thanked Nevada this evening for his victory in the state’s GOP caucuses.
Rep. Joe Heck told reporters today that Romney’s convincing showing in the Nevada caucuses should signal Newt Gingrich to the door. “I hope he takes the message that it’s time to withdraw gracefully and not continue to divide the party,” Heck said, according to a report on CNN.com.
As Valley High’s Caleb Carter was introduced as part of the school’s Senior Night festivities prior to Friday’s game, he was surrounded by his teammates, who chanted “MVP.”
