Las Vegas casino mogul Steve Wynn might soon be banned from the Philippines. On Monday, a House of Representatives committee in Manila voted to ban the CEO of Wynn Resorts Ltd. from doing business there. Politicians and business groups are angry that Wynn, in his legal fight with former business partner Kazuo Okada, described the country as corrupt.

Clark County employee indicted in embezzling conspiracy

Federal authorities have indicted Clark County employee Erik Holman on 15 counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud and aiding and abetting. According to a Dec. 21 indictment, Holman and a co-conspirator are accused of embezzling thousands of dollars over a four-year period from a company that insured motorists.

Jacob Snow, longtime general manager of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, could become Henderson’s next city manager. Snow’s appointment to the $225,000-a-year position could take a step forward Tuesday when the City Council next meets. Family of Hard Rock exec who committed suicide sues drug company
