City of Las Vegas to start sidewalk project Monday

The first phase of a three-phase project to construct new sidewalks and other pedestrian improvements in older neighborhoods will begin Monday, the city of Las Vegas announced Thursday.

Art wreaths now on display at Las Vegas Design Center

Dozens of wreaths, both holiday and nonholiday themed, created by local artists, designers and members of the general public are now on display in the atrium of Building A at the Las Vegas Design Center, 495 S. Grand Central Parkway. The exhibit continues through Nov. 15.
