North Las Vegas police arrest man in fatal shooting

A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a July 3 shooting that left one man dead and a teen girl injured, North Las Vegas police said. Miquan Burton, 18, is accused of shooting Tyrell Melton, 18, who was standing with a group of friends, including a 14-year-old girl in the 4800 block of Via Maria Court, near North Commerce Street and Lone Mountain Road, police said.
