The Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame inducted its Class of 2016 Saturday night at Caesars Palace. Boxing greats Riddick “BidDaddy” Bowe, Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini, Pernell “Sweet Pea” Whitaker, Ricardo “El Finito” Lopez, Christy Martin and FreddieLittle were the fighters inducted. The hall also recognized trainers Kenny Adams and Thell Torrence, late gym owner andtrainer Johnny Tocco, longtime boxing writer Tim Dahlberg, and TV and radio personality James “Smitty” Smith.
