■ LAKE MEAD — While the drop in temperatures and windy conditions have kept some anglers off the water, others are finding good fishing for striped bass by working the shallower waters in Boulder Basin. Swimbaits have worked well in about 10 feet of water, and jigging spoons have been productive at depths of about 30 feet and deeper. The largemouth bass bite has been fair to good, with fish hitting top-water baits early and late in the day. Dark plastics have proven successful.
