Las Vegas chef bringing meat, beer, heavy metal to Palace Station

Working with casino executives does not come naturally for Ralph Perrazzo. In 2002, when Caesars Palace’s Greg Waldron flew him in from New York to offer him a job at the property’s new restaurant Bradley Ogden, he accepted the trip and partied hard on the casino’s dime. The meeting, however, did not go well.

B&B Las Vegas restaurants close, staffs party at Carnevino

After Carnevino, B&B Ristorante and Otto Enoteca e Pizzeria served their final meals Sunday — five days earlier than expected — the staffs said farewell with a party at Carnevino on Monday. Nicole Brisson, the company’s former director of Las Vegas operations who will head the new Eataly project at Park MGM, surprised some longtime friends of Carnevino by selling some of its exquisitely aged beef in cryovac packages ready for freezing. We’re told Carnevino continues to look for a new Las Vegas home now that Mario Batali no longer is associated with the company.

Palace Station opens new Feast Buffet

The new Feast Buffet at Palace Station began serving customers Tuesday, three days earlier than expected. According to a spokesperson for Station Casinos, the decision to stage the surprise soft opening was made because, “We were ready to roll.”
