5 inexpensive music shows coming up in Las Vegas

Vertical Horizon

The alternative rock band Vertical Horizon will play at 9:10 p.m. Saturday on the First Street Stage at Fremont Street Experience. The free concert is part of Fremont Street Experience’s “Rock of Vegas Summer Concert Series” (vegasexperience.com).

Catfish John

Catfish John, a Grateful Dead tribute band, will perform Saturday at Brooklyn Bowl’s “A Jerry Day Celebration.” The free show will start at 8 p.m. (brooklynbowl.com/las-vegas).

Tate Stevens

Country singer Tate Stevens, the Season 2 winner of Fox’s “The X Factor,” will perform at 10 p.m. Friday at Stoney’s Rockin’ Country at Town Square. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 (stoneysrockincountry.com).

The Ataris with the Maxies

On Wednesday, the Ataris and co-headliners the Maxies will rock the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 to $15 (houseofblues.com/lasvegas).

Flotsam and Jetsam

Metal band Flotsam and Jetsam will perform a free show with Abusement Park and Dinner Music for the Gods at 9 p.m. Friday at Count’s Vamp’d (vampdvegas.com).
