Cooler and sunny on Friday in Las Vegas Valley

The Las Vegas Valley may see a little more rain before the weekend brings in warm and dry weather, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday will stay relatively cool with a high of 100 degrees along with a 20 percent chance of rain.

The valley will dry out starting Saturday, with a high of 104 degrees and no chance for rain. Temperatures will continue to rise with a 105-degree highs on Sunday and Monday.

The weather service said residents can expect winds around 10-20 mph over the weekend.
