Monsoonal moisture leaves Las Vegas Valley as seasonal weather moves in for the weekend

The Las Vegas Valley can expect to see “near normal” temperatures over the weekend and into next week, the National Weather Service said.

Saturday had sunny skies and a high of 104 degrees, meteorologist John Adair said. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday all have a forecast high of 105 degrees. Low temperatures for the week should be around 80 degrees,, he said.

Come Wednesday the valley will have a 10 percent chance of rain, though it is unexpected, Adair said.

Wednesday and Thursday are expected to have a high of 102 degrees with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Friday’s forecast high is 103 degrees and sunny skies are expected, the weather service said.
