Suspicious note delays Frontier flight in Las Vegas

A flight at McCarran International Airport was delayed for two hours after crews performed a search of the plane due to a suspicious note that was found.

After Frontier Airlines flight 1103 landed in Las Vegas from Miami around 11 p.m., crews were cleaning the plane in preparation for the next flight and found a note with a suspicious message written on it, McCarran International Airport spokesman Chris Jones said.

Crews searched the plane and later determined the note, which contained the word “explosive,” wasn’t credible, Jones said.

As a result, Frontier Airlines flight 1104, which was headed back in Miami and expected to land at 8:40 a.m., was delayed by about two hours and didn’t return to Miami until 10:54 a.m.
