Downtown hotel room robbery under investigation

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three people involved in the January robbery at a downtown hotel room.

At 4:23 a.m. January 1, police responded to a hotel room at the Golden Nugget where three people broke into a hotel room and stole “undisclosed items,” Metro wrote in a release Monday.

Police would not say what things were taken from the room or whether the person staying in the room knew the robbers.

Police are looking for a man in his 20s or 30s with short or shaved hair and a walking cane, a “heavyset” woman in her 20s or 30s and a “skinny” woman in her 20s or 30s with eyeglasses, the release said.

Anyone with information should call Metro’s robbery section at 702-828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or visit www.crimestoppersofnv.com. Tips directly leading to an arrest through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
