Teen’s tweets get her fired from pizza job before she even starts
February 11, 2015 - 2:47 pm
A Texas teen tweeted herself out of a job at a Dallas-area pizzeria before she even served her first slice by trashing the restaurant.
“Ew I start this f—- a— job tomorrow,” @cellla_ tweeted Friday night referring to her first day at Jet’s Pizza in Mansfield.
Her prospective manager was alerted of the tweet, and for the first time since 2009, used the service himself to respond. “No you don’t start that FA job today! I just fired you! Good luck with your no money, no job life!” @Robertwaple tweeted Saturday. His tweets have since been deleted.
As the tweets went viral, others questioned the validity, but @cellla_ claims she called the restaurant to confirm.
Jet’s Pizza has nearly 400 locations in 18 states.
Consider this a lesson in common sense.
