Raising Cane’s breaks ground on ninth Las Vegas location

Fast-food chain Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers broke ground Wednesday on its ninth restaurant in the Las Vegas Valley with a new location off Interstate 15 just west of the Strip.

The site is located at 3535 W. Tropicana Blvd.

Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak, realtor Kay Roohani, and Raising Cane’s representatives Tommy Dake, Joe Micatrotto Jr. and Justin Micatrotto attended the groundbreaking.

The project is being done in conjunction with MRG Marketing & Management, the Southwest franchise partner of Raising Cane’s.

Founded in Baton Rouge, La., in 1996 by businessman Todd Graves and named for his yellow Labrador retriever, the fast-food chain is known for a sparse menu with a specialty meal of chicken fingers, french fries, Texas toast and a soft drink.
